Warehouse, a Dave Matthews tribute band, will make its Sounds of Lewisville debut June 19, on the Lone Star Toyota Stage in Wayne Ferguson Plaza, 150 W. Church Street. Flower Mound native Tyler Marco will open.
The Dallas-based Warehouse was formed in 2013. Prior to its initial formation, a demo recording had been created and a performance date booked to determine the initial reaction from the public. After many months of practice sessions and fine tuning, the band hit the stage with 45 minutes of DMB material. There was a demand and an overwhelming response for more performances. Now, nearly four years later, the group is hitting its stride.
Warehouse consists of lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist Brent Burke, who has a voice like Dave Matthews himself. The rhythm section consists of drummer Bobby Ysaguirre, bassists Josh Dutton and saxophonist Doctor Chris Beaty.
Concerts start at 7 p.m. every Tuesday night in June and July. The opening acts will perform 7 to 7:45 p.m. and the headliners will perform 8 to 9:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for their comfort. Well-behaved pets on a leash are allowed at the shows. Food and beverages will be available for purchase as Kona Ice, Cavalli Pizza, Tin Man Diner and Chicago’s Taste and More will be on site.
Be sure to stop by Prohibition Chicken, 201 W. Church Street, between 4-7 p.m. and receive 20 percent off a food purchase by mentioning the concert or either performer by name.
