A fire that started in a portable building has damaged a home in the 2000 block of Sailmaker. Lewisville Fire Department responded to the blaze at 12:41 a.m. Sunday morning.
Battalion Chief Jerry Wells said the fire had spread to the back wall of the home. Firefighters were able to get the fire knocked down before about 1 a.m., and cleared the scene by around 2 a.m. after getting the home boarded up.
Wells said that nobody was injured in the fire.
