Two mobile homes were damaged in a fire late Sunday night at Creekside Mobile Home Park, 4000 Ace Lane.

Firefighters were called out at 11:47 p.m. to a reported blaze in unit 327. Nextdoor unit 326 was also damaged by the fire.

“We had a lot of fire here,” LFD Capt. Dean Feldpausch said. The remains of a burned deck for unit 327 could be seen between the two units, of which 327 appeared to be the most heavily damaged.

Feldpausch said nobody was hurt in the blaze, and that firefighters were able to get good water pressure to fight it.

According to Feldpausch, the occupants of unit 327 were at home when the fire started, but the occupants of 326 were not at home.

“We don’t know what started it,” he said, noting that an investigator was on scene.

The homeowner declined to speak with The Lewisville Texan Journal at the scene.

Feldpausch said that Red Cross assistance had been offered, but that the homeowners had made arrangements for alternate accommodations.

Lewisville Fire Department will monitor the homes throughout the night to ensure there are no more flare ups.
