As of Thursday night, 3,825 Denton County voters in Lewisville ISD had early voted.  City of Lewisville voters constituted 788 or 20.6 percent of that total, despite being the largest population city within the district.  Flower Mound constitutes 44.3 percent of Lewisville ISD’s early total with 1694 of the votes.

In 2016, the Lewisville ISD election brought in about 7,014 voters, 4,742 of whom voted early.  With half of early voting complete, this year’s total is on track to exceed 2016.

Last year, Lewisville had a bond proposal, but no contested city council seats, resulting in low turnout of about 1,000.  This year will exceed that number.  There are 7 candidates for two seats.
