Lewisville ISD providing free summer meals to any child

Lewisville ISD is providing free meals during the summer for any child under 18 across several locations, including schools within the district.

Any child is welcome, and no qualifications or eligibility is required. Children do not need to be students of the district to get a free meal. For parents, staff and other adults, breakfast is $1.55 and lunches are $3.50.

The district will be serving food Monday through Friday. The locations vary in time, but most places begin serving breakfast at 8 a.m. and lunch at 11 a.m.

Below is a table outlining the times and places food will be served.

Lewisville Elementary (June 11-29) 8 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Lewisville HIgh School (June 11- July 27) 8 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
LHS-Killough (June 11-29) 8 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Parkway Elementary (June 11 – July 27) 8 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. 11 a.m. – 11:45 p.m.
Peter’s Colony Elementary (June 11 – July 27) 8 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Timber Creek Elementary (June 12-29) 8 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Food trucks will also be available from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m. at the Bob Weisman Soccer Complex and noon to 12:30 p.m. at the Old Town Aquatics Lewisville Center. Breakfast will also be served from 7:15 to 8 a.m. and lunch will be served from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at Hedrick Elementary School.
