In an effort to equip individuals in Denton County to strengthen the nonprofits they serve, United Way of Denton County is accepting applications for the 2018 Project Blueprint class.
Created in 2009, Project Blueprint is a series of classes designed to train potential nonprofit board members in Denton County. Since inception, the Project Blueprint Program has trained and certified approximately 150 residents of Denton County to serve on nonprofit boards across the region.
Local experts in each field teach the classes held Wednesday evenings from 4-7 p.m. at the United Way of Denton County offices starting Sept. 12. Topics include board operation and governance, fundraising, strategic planning, conflict resolution and advocacy, among others.
Applications for the 2018 training classes are due Aug. 10.
