Round Grove closed near I-35E

Round Grove Road is currently closed in both directions between MacArthur Boulevard and Rockbrook Drive after a construction crew hit a four-inch gas line.

Lewisville Fire Department said the incident occurred around 12:15 p.m. and nearby businesses had to be evacuated. A department representative and they do not have a timeline for when the closure can be cleared.

To get around the closure, commuters can take either MacArthur or Rockbrook south to Vista Ridge Mall Drive, and then the other road north back to Round Grove.
