Lewisville Animal Services to hold inaugural ‘Fur Ball’

Step back into the Roaring ‘20s and help raise money for the Lewisville Animal Shelter and Adoption Center at the inaugural “Fur Ball” 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 19 at Medical Center of Lewisville Grand Theater, 100 N. Charles Street.

Put on your best formal or 1920s themed attire and dance to the music of the Texas Gypsies. Vizcarra Hospitality has created a special menu for the buffet-style dinner. Guests will be served hors d’oeuvres and receive two drink tickets. There will be a cash bar. A silent auction will be held, and there will be door prizes.

All proceeds will directly benefit the Lewisville Animal Shelter and Adoption Center and the animals in its care. The goal is to raise enough money to purchase portable surgery equipment that would be used to neuter shelter animals and make them more easily adopted. Tickets are $75 per person or $140 per couple and can be purchased online at cityoflewisville.tix.com.
