Keep Lewisville Beautiful will hold its Garden Secrets class, “Weed ‘em and Reap: Weeds and Watering” 6 to 7 p.m. July 19 at the MCL Grand theater, 100 N. Charles St.

Join KLB and Texas A&M Agrilife Water University’s Dotty Woodson to learn how to control unwanted plants and when to water and when to wait. Attendees will learn the best approach to managing weeds effectively without the over use of chemicals.

Keep Lewisville Beautiful is partnering with the City of Lewisville to provide classes throughout the year as an initiative of the Lewisville 2025 vision plan. The plan can be viewed at cityoflewisville.com/Lewisville2025.

Upcoming classes include “Saving from a Rainy Day, DIY Rain Barrel” Aug. 2, “Plant Propagation” Aug. 16 and “Fall Vegetable Gardening” Sept. 6. For a complete list of upcoming scheduled classes, please visit the KLB website keeplewisvillebeautiful.org. Class times and locations may vary from class to class, but are generally from 6 to 8 p.m.
