Lewisville is upgrading vehicle sensor equipment at 10 traffic lights around the city.

Crews will disconnect and remove the older vehicle sensor equipment, which is buried under the pavement, and replace it with a video camera system. The 10 locations that will be upgraded are E. Corporate Drive at E. Southwest Parkway, E. Corporate Drive at Lakepointe Drive, E. Corporate Drive at Uecker Lane, W. Corporate Drive at S. Valley Parkway, S. Edmonds Lane at W. Purnell Street, Fox Avenue at S. Valley Parkway, Fox Avenue at Old Orchard Lane, W. Main Street at S. Cowan Avenue, S. Valley Parkway at Old Orchard Lane, and E. Vista Ridge Mall Drive at Lake Vista Drive.

This process will take up to six weeks, depending on weather conditions.
